The cake was beautiful! It was just as I envisioned and tasted better than I imagined. The guests loved it too! I heard comments on how they "tried one piece of every layer flavor." I almost did not follow tradition to freeze the top layer because we wanted to eat more carrot cake while it was fresh! Mom quickly hid the top layer in her freezer. I know we will be glad next September. Thank you for your hard work. We thoroughly enjoyed the cake. - Kathryn
