The Cake Lady--
About 15 years ago, a good friend who owns a local B & B called and said she needed a wedding cake for a ceremony at the inn, and she wanted me to make it. I told her I didn't know how to make a wedding cake, but she said we would figure it out. That cake began a wonderful adventure that continues today. I am a self taught cake artist. I work alone out of my professional home kitchen. I bake every cake, create every sauce, puree, buttercream ... that makes them delicious. I build and decorate every cake. I deliver and set up every cake (well - on really busy days, my husband sometimes helps!) I am proud to be a part of your special day, and I will do everything I can to make it live up to your dreams! Most of my business over the years has come through word of mouth and from the recommendations of the many caterers, reception sites, wedding planners, photographers, florists and couples I've had the pleasure of working with. I have worked with countless brides, grooms and their families and it is a joyful business indeed!! It would be my honor to be a part of your magical day by making a wedding cake for your NC mountain wedding!
